Meet the Doctor

Dr. Yau is a first-generation Chinese American and a California native. She grew up in Saratoga where she attended Redwood Middle School and Saratoga High School. Because Dr. Yau loves the South Bay and her family still lives in the area, she has decided to come back after receiving her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) at University of California, Los Angeles and her Certificate in Orthodontics and Master’s of Science Degree in Dentistry (M.S.D.) at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Dr. Yau has abundant experience working with both braces and clear aligners as well as using the latest technology and software. She is an American Board Certified Orthodontist, a distinction achieved through commitment to quality orthodontic care. She works closely with dental professionals and is dedicated to provide the best possible care to her patients. Currently, Dr. Yau is also serving as associate faculty at the University of the Pacific. In addition, she continues to maintain active participation with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and Santa Clara County Dental Society, serving in many leadership roles.

Dr. Yau enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include hiking, playing pickleball, and eating!
